I'm excited to share that I recently started my lab as an Assistant Professor at York University in Toronto, Canada!
(lab website will come soon!)
*** The lab is accepting new students (and postdocs) this application cycle (Fall 2025). ***
My research interests
I'm a cognitive neuroscientist with a focus on human vision. My research aims to build a quantitative understanding of the underlying neural organization and computations that support and limit our visual perception, and how these computations are modulated by higher cognition. For example, how is visual information processed at different stages of the human visual pathways? How does performing different tasks as an observer affect the stimulus representation in visual cortex? And how do these neural representations shape our visual perception? I use psychophysics, eye tracking, MRI, EEG/MEG techniques in combination with computational modeling to answer my research questions.
